Welcome! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of CARGOCYCLE products and services via our website, cargocycle.shop By placing an order, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Orders & Pricing

  • All prices are in USD and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.

  • We reserve the right to update pricing without notice.

  • Payment is processed via secure gateways at checkout.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Standard shipping applies; estimated timelines are provided at checkout.

  • Shipping rates vary based on destination, package size, and weight.

  • You bear responsibility for import duties, customs clearance, and related fees.

Returns & Refunds

  • You may request a return within 15 days of delivery, in unused condition with original packaging.

  • Return shipping is your responsibility unless the return is due to an error on our part.

  • Once inspected, refunds (excluding original shipping) will be processed within 7 days of acceptance.

Every CARGOCYCLE is built to work — and built to last. Our warranty reflects the confidence we have in our design, materials, and commitment to support you long after your first ride.

What’s Covered

Lifetime Coverage (for original owner)

  • CARGOCYCLE Frame & Rigid Forks/ Front Box Connectors

  • CARGOCYCLE Handlebar

1-Year Coverage

  • CARGOCYCLE-branded parts and accessories (e.g. front box, cargo hardware, lights, battery covers)

​

Third-Party Components

  • Covered by their individual manufacturer warranties (e.g. Bosch motor system, Enviolo hub)

​​​

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear & tear (tires, brake pads, chain, etc.)

  • Damage from crashes, neglect, abuse, or unauthorized modifications

  • Improper maintenance or use outside of intended purpose

  • Damage from commercial rental use or competitive racing

  • Anything installed by third-party shops not approved by CARGOCYCLE

Making a Warranty Claim

  3. We’ll guide you through next steps — repair, replacement, or shop assistance.

Crash Replacement Policy

Accidents happen — we’ve got your back.
If your CARGOCYCLE frame or rigid fork is damaged in a crash, we offer a crash replacement program for up to 4 years from your original delivery date.

Discounted replacement pricing will apply. Email us for details.

Legal Disclaimer

This warranty is valid only for the original registered owner and is non-transferable.
Coverage applies to bikes purchased directly from CARGOCYCLE or authorized dealers.
Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts only.
Local laws may grant you additional rights — this warranty does not override those rights.

Returns & Refund

Returns & Refund

We stand behind every CARGOCYCLE product we ship. However, due to the size, complexity, and custom nature of our electric cargo bikes, we maintain the following return policy:

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • The return request must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.

  • The product must be unused, unridden, and in original condition, with all original packaging, manuals, tools, and accessories included.

  • The bike must not show any signs of wear, installation, assembly, modification, or damage.

  • Returns must be pre-authorized via email to contact@ameccargocycle.com.

Return Shipping & Fees

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance costs.

  • CARGOCYCLE will not accept freight collect or COD shipments.

  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to cover inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs.

  • If the product is not returned in original packaging or arrives damaged due to improper packing, the refund may be partially reduced or denied.

Refund Processing

  • Once the returned item is inspected and approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.

  • Shipping, handling, and any assembly charges are non-refundable.

  • If an item is refused upon delivery, original and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Custom-configured or modified bikes

  • Assembled, used, or test-ridden bikes

  • Demo units or final sale/clearance items

  • Accessories or spare parts once installed

  • Gift cards or promotional vouchers

Important Notes

  • All returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization (RA) number.

  • CARGOCYCLE is not responsible for damage or loss during return transit. We strongly recommend insured, trackable shipping.

  • Unauthorized returns or returns without an RA will be refused.

We build every CARGOCYCLE with precision — and we take pride in delivering it the right way, not the fastest way.

Where We Ship

We currently offer local delivery within Minnesota only.
California is coming soon.

If you’re located outside Minnesota, you’re still welcome to place an order — but for now, pickup at our Eden Prairie facility is required. You may also coordinate third-party transport if preferred.

Delivery Timeline (Minnesota Only)

  • Delivery window: 4–6 weeks from the time your order is placed

  • This includes scheduling, final assembly, and quality checks

  • We’ll contact you directly to coordinate a convenient delivery time

​

Local Delivery

  • Handled by our in-house team — no third-party carriers

  • We deliver your CARGOCYCLE fully built and ready to ride

  • You’ll get a personal handoff and quick orientation if desired

For Out-of-State Customers

If you're outside of Minnesota:

  • You can pick up your bike at our facility in Eden Prairie, MN

  • Or use a freight service of your choice (at your own arrangement and risk)

1. What is CARGOCYCLE?

CARGOCYCLE is a premium electric cargo bike designed, engineered, and assembled in Minnesota. It’s built for real-world utility — from hauling kids and groceries to replacing work vans and supporting commercial fleets.

2. Where is CARGOCYCLE made?

Every CARGOCYCLE is assembled at our facility in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. We proudly use global components (like Bosch motors from Germany), and we obsess over quality control and local craftsmanship.

​

3. How fast can it go?

All CARGOCYCLE models are pedal-assist e-bikes with a top assisted speed of 19 mph (Class 1). It feels like a strong tailwind — every time you ride.

​

4. What’s the battery range?

With the Bosch PowerTube 750Wh, riders can expect up to 60–85 miles per charge, depending on terrain, load, assist level, and weather. The range is real — and we've tested it ourselves.

5. How much can it carry?

Depending on your configuration:

  • Up to 440+ lbs (including rider)

  • Optional front cargo boxes

  • Room for kids, pets, tools, groceries, and more

We build these bikes to work, not just look good.

6. Can I test ride a CARGOCYCLE?

Yes! If you're in Minnesota, reach out to schedule a test ride at our Eden Prairie location. For out-of-state customers, we’re building demo opportunities soon — or catch us at events like Electrify Expo.

7. Do you ship nationwide?

Currently, we offer local delivery within Minnesota.
California is next — and for customers in other states, pickup or customer-arranged shipping is available.

8. Do you offer financing or leasing?

We’re working on financing and leasing options — reach out and we’ll walk you through what’s currently possible for businesses and individuals.

9. What kind of maintenance does it need?

CARGOCYCLEs are built tough, but like any high-quality bike, they benefit from regular checkups:

  • Keep tires inflated

  • Schedule yearly tune-ups (or more with heavy use)

We use industry-standard parts, so any good local bike shop can service it.

10. What’s the warranty?

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on the frame and Bosch motor system. Extended warranty and service plans are also in the works.

11. Can I customize my CARGOCYCLE?

Yes! From frame color to box configurations, tires, and accessories — we’re all about making it fit your life or your business.
